The Idex Group strengthens its management team
To support its growth while broadening its range of services and solutions, the French energy specialist is bolstering its management team with three new directors: Edouard Brunet (Strategy and M&A), André Chausseray (Performance and Transformation) and Edouard Roblot (Low-Carbon Buildings).
One year after Benjamin Fremaux took over as Chairman, the Idex Group is further strengthening the management team in charge of rolling out its strategy.
France’s number-one independent player in energy transition markets plans to double its revenue to €2 billion in four years. To do so, it will expand its array of services and solutions revolving around the energy transition, and deliver them to customers through its network of local bases. The decision to appoint three new directors is one step further in this direction.
Buoyed by our fast-growing market and backed by Antin Infrastructure Partners, we want to bring our clients new opportunities to reduce their carbon footprint and develop their local energy infrastructure. The decision to bring Edouard Brunet, André Chausseray and Edouard Roblot on board is fully aligned with this strategy.
Edouard Brunet (36) holds an ESSEC Business School degree and began his career in investment banking at Messier Maris & Associés then at Goldman Sachs in Paris, where he worked as Executive Director, French Coverage, until 2018. Before joining Idex, he was Vice-President, Investment Team at Quadrille Capital. He will now bring his experience to lead Idex’s strategy and contribute to the Group’s growth through acquisitions in France and beyond.
André Chausseray (30), who also holds an ESSEC Business School degree, spent over six years working as a strategy consultant for leading groups including KPMG, Roland Berger and, most recently, The Boston Consulting Group. He has specialised in operations and operational performance plans in the automotive, aviation and other sectors. As Idex’s Performance and Transformation Director, he will work side by side with the teams in the field improving the Group’s operational performance.
Before moving to Idex as Low-Carbon Buildings Director, Edouard Roblot (32) served as energy and environment advisor to Valérie Pécresse, President of the Île-de-France (Greater Paris) region. An Ecole Polytechnique and Sciences Po graduate, he began his career in 2011 on the French energy regulation commission. He joined the Total group in 2013 where he was later appointed head of the B2B Solar Energy Department in France. As Idex’s Low-Carbon Buildings Director, he will lead this newly created department tasked with developing the Group’s low-carbon solutions for business premises and community facilities.
