For the Résidence Les Vertes Campagnes in Gex (Ain), Idex deployed surface geothermal energy coupled with heat pumps on behalf of Foncia. The aims are to reduce energy bills and carbon emissions, improve EPD, make them more attractive to rent and comply with the BACS decree. Idex stood out for its optimal technical and economic approach, a turnkey project with guaranteed savings, optimisation of subsidies and financing. Expected results: 77% reduction in energy consumption and 91% reduction in CO2 emissions, improved EPD.
Idex has deployed a geothermal system with heat pumps in 8 care establishments run by the Rothschild Foundation. This €2m project will result in energy savings of 34% and 450 tonnes of CO2 per year. Challenges: safety, patient comfort, sustainability of facilities, 24/7 continuity, compliance with the Tertiary Decree. Idex impressed with its expertise in energy management, its decarbonisation solutions, including geothermal energy, and its performance commitments. The work was financed by savings via an Energy Efficiency Certificate.
At the Seaquarium in Le Grau-du-Roi (Gard), Idex has installed a thalassothermal system with heat pumps, resulting in energy savings of -28% and -56 t CO2/year. Challenges: reduce environmental impact, optimise consumption via BMS, modernise air handling, ensure thermal comfort and smooth operation. Idex was chosen for its expertise in energy savings and its relevant works plan. The 5,000 m² building is now temperature-controlled, with energy performance guaranteed by a Global Performance Contract.
