Idex strengthens its management team to support strong business growth: Antoine Pellion is appointed Deputy CEO
Paris, April 10, 2025 - To support its dynamic growth and consolidate its role as a leader in local, low-carbon energy infrastructure, Idex has announced the appointment of Antoine Pellion as Deputy CEO in charge of development. In his newly-created role, Antoine Pellion will oversee all the Group's sales and development activities, reporting to Thomas Le Beux, Chief Operating Officer. This appointment is part of the ambitious growth strategy pursued by Idex, supported by record levels of investment and the continuing expansion of its activities
Steady growth and ambitious investments
Idex takes a uniquely integrated approach to energy infrastructure, from production to optimisation in use. As part of this approach, it delivers turnkey solutions to accelerate decarbonisation and improve energy sovereignty for industry, local players and the construction sector.
In 2024, Idex reported revenue of €2.16 billion and EBITDA of €180 million a 20% increase on 2023. Building on this performance, the Group is planning to invest €360 million in 2025 to accelerate its growth. To support its development, Idex is recruiting 1,500 new employees and continuing to invest heavily in local, low-carbon energy infrastructure.
Accelerating the Group's business development
Taking a further step forward in its expansion, Idex is bringing together all its development functions on a single industrial platform, underlining its increased ambitions to win new projects for sustainable energy infrastructure as part of the energy transition. Heading the development platform, Antoine Pellion will support the energy transition at local level, meeting public and private decision-makers in order to stay close to grass roots realities
To drive new initiatives and further amplify our development, he will be able to build on the momentum already present, highlighted by three upcoming events. On 25 April in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, Idex is opening a new biomass power plant for the local heating network; on 19 June in Brest, the foundation stone will be laid for a power plant producing energy from Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF); and on 25 September in Villers-Saint-Paul, the Waste-to-Energy Centre is opening a new line. All three events strengthen the Group's local roots and its ambitions to be a leader in local energy sovereignty.
