Le Foyer Rémois is a housing trust managing over 18,000 homes in the Marne, Aisne, Haute-Marne and Seine-et-Marne departments. Part  of the Global Habitat Group, it is a key player in the Champagne-Ardenne region. Le Foyer Rémois was looking for a single partner to manage all its multi-service activities.

Through its multi-service subsidiary MUST, Idex has been working with Le Foyer Rémois for 15 years, providing a full range of building management services: plumbing, tap fittings, heating, ventilation, joinery, electricity, locksmithing, hardware and inventories of fixtures. 

To deliver the services requested by users more rapidly, Idex set up a specific department with a workforce of 82 technicians with specialist expertise, headed by a regional manager and eight operations managers. The workforce is spread across six agencies to cover our customer's property portfolio.
 

A dedicated system to manage work orders

Idex has implemented innovative solutions to cover the corrective requirements of 18,000 homes. To make it easy for tenants to submit jobs and to organise the work of its technicians, Idex has set up a special portal, allowing tenants to submit details of the work required.  

Anyone can submit their requirements on this platform as part of a fully transparent approach, with the housing trust monitoring work orders in real time. 

For jobs that are urgent or that require a greater level of technical expertise, Idex is working with the Sofratel Customer Relations Centre (CRC). In this way, it is able to provide a more exhaustive and more accurate response to user requests.

To support people of limited autonomy, MUST designed and implemented “TOM”: a simple button installed in the home that allows senior or disabled tenants to alert our employees if they require technical or personal assistance.
