Idex moves into individualizing heating costs with Kocliko
Did you know that in France, 3.5 million homes with central heating still pay a heating bill based on the size of the living area? Whether or not they can control the temperature in their home, these residents are in a situation where energy is wasted. This injustice has not been resolved, despite regulations on individualized heating costs.
On September 28, 2022, Idex officially established its partnership with the startup Kocliko. Idex chose the Kocliko solution to allow social housing organizations and condominiums with central heating, which come under the regulation, to get their residents started on plans to improve their energy performance. These plans have become essential for the sector and useful to Idex in carrying out its mission.
Kocliko is currently the only smart and fair solution for individualizing heating costs and is also the least intrusive on the market. It removes many of the obstacles to the development of this system in condominiums in France, starting with solving the problem of heat theft and having residents pay only for the temperature actually recorded.
